Honey Garlic Shrimp (Printable Version)

01 - 1 lb Argentinian shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 1 tablespoon butter
05 - 3 tablespoons honey
06 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
07 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

09 - Cooked white rice
10 - Sliced green onions (optional)
11 - Red pepper flakes (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Add shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
02 - Transfer marinated shrimp to a bowl with cornstarch and coat each piece thoroughly.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, melt butter. Add honey and any remaining marinade. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened.
05 - Return cooked shrimp to skillet. Toss to coat in sauce evenly and heat through.
06 - Plate shrimp over rice. Garnish with green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.
