In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, and salt. Mix thoroughly to create the seasoning blend.

Spread the thinly sliced bell peppers evenly on the base of a large casserole dish.

Place the chicken breasts on top of the peppers so the peppers cook beneath.

Generously sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over both sides of the chicken breasts. Top evenly with minced garlic.

Place two slices of cream cheese atop each chicken breast. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over all.

Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and juices run clear.

Broil for an additional 2 minutes for a golden top, if desired.

To plate, remove bell peppers from beneath the chicken and distribute around and over the chicken breasts.
