Rinse strawberries under cold water and pat them dry. Slice them into thin slices, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Slice fresh mozzarella into rounds or use mozzarella balls, draining and patting them dry to remove excess moisture.

On a serving platter, alternate layers of sliced strawberries and mozzarella. Arrange in a circle or rows as desired.

Drizzle balsamic reduction over the layered strawberries and mozzarella. Top with fresh basil leaves. For additional flavor, optionally drizzle olive oil, sprinkle black pepper, and add sea salt.
