Slow-Cooker Pulled Chicken (Printable Version)

Tender chicken slow-cooked with tomatoes, spices and cider vinegar - perfect for sandwiches or as a versatile main dish.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sweet onion, halved and thinly sliced
02 - 700g boneless, skinless chicken breasts
03 - 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
04 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
05 - 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
06 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
07 - 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
08 - 2 teaspoons ground cumin
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1 teaspoon ground chile powder
11 - 1 teaspoon ground coriander

# Steps:

01 - Place the sliced onion and chicken breasts in the base of a slow cooker. Add crushed tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, yellow mustard, and all spices. Toss gently to combine.
02 - Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set the heat on low. Cook for 7 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
03 - Using two forks, shred the meat thoroughly. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container for storage.
