Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it along the perforated lines into eight triangles.

Spoon about 2 teaspoons of chocolate hazelnut spread onto each triangle and spread gently, leaving a 1/4-inch border around the edges.

Starting at the wider end of each triangle, roll toward the point and curve the ends inward to form crescent shapes.

Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

While still warm, dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with melted chocolate, or sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts as desired.
