Hot Sausage Feta Honey Pizza (Print-Friendly Version)

Spicy sausage, tangy feta, and sweet honey deliver bold, harmonious flavors on a crisp crust.

# What You Need:

→ Base

01 - 1 pizza dough, homemade or store-bought

→ Sauce

02 - 60 ml tomato sauce or pizza sauce

→ Cheese

03 - 170 g shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 60 g crumbled feta cheese

→ Meat

05 - 225 g hot Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled

→ Toppings

06 - 60 ml honey
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
08 - 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
09 - 0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
10 - Fresh arugula or spinach, for garnish (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Set oven to 230°C and place a pizza stone inside if available.
02 - Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your preferred thickness. Transfer to a baking tray or pizza stone.
03 - Brush the dough with olive oil. Pre-bake in the oven for 5 minutes until just beginning to firm.
04 - Spread tomato sauce evenly over the pre-baked crust. Distribute mozzarella cheese evenly atop the sauce.
05 - Scatter cooked hot sausage and crumbled feta cheese uniformly over the pizza.
06 - Return pizza to oven and bake 10–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
07 - Remove pizza from oven and let cool briefly. Drizzle honey evenly across the surface.
08 - Top with fresh arugula or spinach if desired. Slice and serve while hot.

# Important Notes:

01 - For intensified flavour, add red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning before baking. Ensure sausage is thoroughly cooked before topping.
02 - A pizza stone will yield a crisper base, but a baking tray works well if a stone is unavailable.
