# Ingredients:

→ Greek Turkey Meatballs

01 - 450 g lean ground turkey
02 - 80 ml breadcrumbs (regular or gluten-free)
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 60 ml onion, finely chopped
06 - 60 ml fresh parsley, chopped
07 - 1 tsp dried oregano
08 - 0.5 tsp ground cumin
09 - 0.5 tsp salt
10 - 0.25 tsp black pepper
11 - Olive oil, as needed for cooking

→ Tzatziki Sauce

12 - 240 ml plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
13 - 0.5 cucumber, grated and drained
14 - 1 garlic clove, minced
15 - 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
16 - 15 ml fresh dill, chopped
17 - 15 ml olive oil
18 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
02 - Gently mix until just combined. Shape mixture into small meatballs, approximately 2.5–4 cm in diameter, yielding 16–20 balls.
03 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange meatballs on a parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
04 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of olive oil, then cook meatballs in batches, turning, for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
05 - Preheat air fryer to 193°C. Place meatballs in a single layer and cook for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until thoroughly cooked.
06 - Grate cucumber and drain thoroughly to remove excess moisture. Mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to develop flavor.
07 - Arrange turkey meatballs on a platter with a generous portion of tzatziki sauce. Accompany with pita bread, rice, or a fresh salad if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal texture, avoid overworking the meatball mixture when combining ingredients.
02 - Resting the tzatziki in the refrigerator enhances the flavors and thickens the sauce.
