Greek Chicken Stuffed Pitas (Print-Friendly Version)

Flavorful Mediterranean pitas stuffed with seasoned chicken, homemade tzatziki, crisp vegetables and creamy avocado.

# What You Need:

→ For the Tzatziki

01 - 2 cups plain non-fat Greek yogurt
02 - ½ English cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
03 - 1 lemon, juiced
04 - 1 clove garlic, super finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
06 - Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

→ For the Stuffed Pita

07 - 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
08 - ½ cup tzatziki sauce
09 - ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
10 - 1 ripe Hass avocado, sliced
11 - 4 whole wheat pitas
12 - Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, dill, and half of the lemon juice in a large bowl. Taste and add more lemon juice if desired. Season with salt and black pepper as needed.
02 - Place the whole wheat pitas in a toaster, toaster oven, or oven and toast for a few minutes until slightly toasty. Remove and set aside.
03 - In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, tzatziki sauce, and red onion. Toss together and season with salt and black pepper as needed.
04 - Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal parts. Stuff each portion into a pita pocket and top with avocado slices.

01 - For a low-carb option, consider wrapping the filling in lettuce instead of using pitas.
