If using chicken breasts, slice each breast into two thinner pieces. Place the chicken in the bowl or bag with the marinade, ensuring all pieces are fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours in the refrigerator. Turn occasionally to ensure even marination.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and transfer to the skillet. Discard excess marinade. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until well browned and cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the skillet; cook in batches if necessary.
