Freezer Breakfast Sandwich (Printable Version)

Make-ahead sandwiches with eggs, sausage and cheese on English muffins - perfect for busy mornings!

# Ingredients:

→ Sausage Patties

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1 lb ground sausage, mild breakfast sausage preferred
03 - 1 tbsp brown sugar
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1 tsp onion powder
06 - ½ tsp red pepper flakes
07 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning

→ Eggs

08 - 12 large eggs
09 - ¼ cup milk (optional, but keeps the eggs fluffy)
10 - 1 tsp salt
11 - 1 tsp white pepper

→ Sandwich Assembly

12 - 6 English muffins
13 - 6 slices cheese
14 - 2 tbsps melted butter
15 - Syrup (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Blend eggs, milk, salt, and white pepper. Pour mixture into a greased 33x23-cm (13x9-inch) baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
02 - Combine ground sausage, ground beef, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Shape into 140–170-gram (5–6-ounce) patties slightly larger than English muffins. Sear in a hot skillet with oil for 5–6 minutes on each side.
03 - Toast English muffins in melted butter and, optionally, in syrup.
04 - Layer toasted English muffins with cooked sausage patties, cheese slices, and baked eggs.
05 - Wrap assembled sandwiches in parchment paper or plastic wrap, then store in a ziplock bag for freezing.
