Rinse cod fillets under cold water, then pat thoroughly dry with paper towels. Cut each fillet into uniform pieces of approximately 150 g for even cooking.

In a large bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, a pinch of salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until evenly mixed.

Press each cod piece lightly into lemon juice to moisten, then thoroughly coat with the panko-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C. Allow approximately 5 minutes for the appliance to reach the desired temperature.

Arrange breaded cod pieces in a single layer in the fryer basket with space between each piece. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the fish is fully cooked.

Carefully remove the cod from the air fryer. Let rest briefly on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil. Serve hot, optionally with a fresh salad or side of your choice.
