03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
05 - 0.5 pound ground beef
06 - 0.5 pound ground pork
07 - 2 cups tomato sauce
08 - 0.5 cup heavy cream
09 - 4 cups chicken broth
10 - 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
11 - 6 broken lasagna sheets or 2 cups pasta of choice
12 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Seasonings

13 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
14 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
15 - 0.5 teaspoon chili flakes
16 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
17 - Salt and black pepper to taste

→ For Serving (Optional)

18 - Ricotta cheese
19 - Fresh basil leaves

# Steps:

01 - In a large pot, heat olive oil or lard over medium heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent.
02 - Add garlic powder, oregano, chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir and cook for 1–2 minutes. Mix in tomato paste and cook for another minute. Add ground beef and pork, breaking them up as they cook. Sauté until browned, about 5 minutes.
03 - Pour in tomato sauce, heavy cream, chicken broth, and 1 cup water. Stir thoroughly. Add sugar and mix well.
04 - Bring the soup to a simmer. Add broken lasagna sheets or preferred pasta. Cook uncovered for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
05 - Remove soup from heat. Stir in shredded mozzarella and let it melt completely into the soup.
06 - Ladle soup into bowls. Optionally top with a dollop of ricotta cheese and fresh basil.

# Notes:

01 - Cook pasta until al dente to prevent it from becoming mushy as it sits.
02 - Sauté onions and garlic well to develop a rich flavor base.
03 - Adjust cream quantity to control richness.
04 - Add more broth or water if soup thickens too much when reheating.
