04 - 1 cup uncooked rotini or pasta of choice, cooked according to package directions
05 - 1 cup croutons

07 - Black pepper, optional

# Steps:

01 - Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, run cold water over it, and drain again. Set aside.
02 - Cut romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces, discarding the core.
03 - In a large bowl, combine lettuce, cold pasta, cooked chicken, Parmesan cheese, croutons, Caesar dressing, and black pepper, if desired.
04 - Gently toss the salad to coat all ingredients evenly with Caesar dressing.
05 - Serve immediately to prevent the lettuce from getting soggy.

# Notes:

01 - Rotisserie chicken or pre-cooked chicken are convenient options for this recipe.
02 - Using a Caesar salad kit that includes dressing and cheese can save time but may require adding extra dressing, Parmesan, and croutons depending on the portion.
03 - For shredded chicken, use warm chicken as it shreds more easily than cold.
04 - This recipe can be adjusted by adding more of your favorite ingredients as desired.
05 - Prepare ingredients in advance but wait to add dressing until just before serving to maintain texture.
