Cheesy Pizza Pockets (Printable Version)

Golden pockets packed with melty mozzarella, pepperoni, and flavorful spices for a tasty Italian-American snack.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Filling

01 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce
02 - 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
03 - 1 can of pizza dough or crescent rolls, refrigerated
04 - 1/2 cup pepperoni or any toppings such as mushrooms, sausage, or diced peppers

→ Seasonings and Toppings

05 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian herbs
06 - A light sprinkle of powdered garlic
07 - Melted butter or olive oil, to brush on top
08 - Grated Parmesan cheese for finishing

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cover a baking sheet with parchment or baking paper.
02 - Spread the dough on a floured counter. If using crescent rolls, separate them into triangles. For pizza dough, cut it into 8 small rectangles.
03 - Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each dough piece. Add shredded mozzarella and a couple of pepperoni slices or other toppings.
04 - Sprinkle garlic and Italian seasoning over the fillings. Fold each piece of dough into a pocket and press the edges together firmly with a fork.
05 - Brush melted butter or olive oil on top of each pocket. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over them and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
06 - Let the pockets cool slightly before serving. Optionally, serve with extra marinara for dipping.
