Smoky chicken and caramelized sweet potatoes come together for a colorful, flavorful meal in every bowl.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 680g)
02 - 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed (approximately 600g)

→ For Cooking

03 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Sauce

07 - 1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to 220°C and allow it to preheat fully.
02 - Combine sweet potato cubes with 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
03 - Arrange the sweet potatoes in an even layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast for 25-30 minutes until golden and tender.
04 - Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
05 - Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side until well-browned and fully cooked (internal temperature 75°C).
06 - Brush the seared chicken with BBQ sauce directly in the skillet. Allow sauce to caramelize slightly, turning to coat all sides.
07 - Slice the BBQ chicken and arrange over roasted sweet potatoes in serving bowls. Drizzle with additional BBQ sauce as desired.

# Notes:

01 - For best flavor, use a high-quality BBQ sauce; homemade versions allow you to control sweetness and spice.
