01 -
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
02 -
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, whole wheat panko breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and green onions. Mix thoroughly until homogenous.
03 -
Using a tablespoon or small scoop, portion the mixture and shape into 2.5 cm balls. Arrange meatballs evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
04 -
Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden and fully cooked through.
05 -
While meatballs bake, combine soy sauce, honey, beef broth, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
06 -
If needed, whisk cornstarch and water in a small bowl to create a slurry. Stir into the simmering sauce until desired thickness is achieved. Add crushed red chili flakes to taste, then remove from heat.
07 -
Transfer baked meatballs to a large bowl. Pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs and gently toss to evenly coat.
08 -
Plate the glazed meatballs atop brown rice or grain of choice. Drizzle with extra sauce and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
